Shelly has dreamed of 'hanging her own shingle' since early in her career. Shelly became a Family Nurse Practitioner because she loves Primary Care, she loves wellness, she loves facilitating physical, emotional, and spiritual healing for her patients.
This form of practicing has become increasingly difficult in today's health care arena. Due to administrative mandates many providers are now seeing patients for only 8-10 minutes and addressing just one concern at each appointment.
Shelly has an insurmountable philosophical difference with this type of care and made the decision to change. Shelly has adopted the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model which will allow her to provide her patients the care they deserve.
