These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and DPCfind (“DPCfind,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the website at dpcfind.com and its subdomains (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What DPCfind is

DPCfind is a free, informational directory that helps people discover Direct Primary Care (“DPC”) practices in the United States and learn about the DPC model. The Site lets you search and compare practices by location and other attributes. DPCfind is not a healthcare provider, medical practice, insurer, or referral service, and is not a party to any relationship between you and any practice.

2. Not medical, legal, or professional advice

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or tax advice. Using the Site does not create a physician-patient relationship, and it is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any practice or clinician. Always consult a licensed professional about your individual situation. Please read the full Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.

3. Accuracy of directory information

Practice listings are compiled from public and third-party sources — including public directories, government records (such as the NPI/NPPES registry), and practices’ own public websites — and may be gathered through automated means. We do not independently verify every detail. Information such as pricing, hours, availability, services, credentials, ratings, photographs, and biographies may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, and may change without notice. You should confirm all information — especially pricing, acceptance of new patients, services, and a clinician’s current licensure and credentials — directly with the practice and with the applicable state licensing board before relying on it. All Site content is provided “as is.”

4. Listings, claims, and corrections

A listing does not imply that a practice endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with DPCfind, nor that DPCfind is affiliated with the practice. If you are a practice or clinician and would like to correct, update, or request removal of your listing, contact us at support@dpcfind.com and we will review the request and act on reasonable, verifiable requests within a reasonable time.

5. Sponsored and advertising content

Some listings or placements may be sponsored or paid. Sponsored content is labeled as such and does not represent a clinical endorsement or a judgment about quality of care. See our Advertising Disclosure for details on how sponsored placements work and how they differ from regular listings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, data-mine, or use bots or automated means to extract or copy listings or other content, except as expressly permitted in writing;
  • collect or use information about practices or clinicians from the Site to send spam or unlawful communications, or in violation of applicable anti-spam, telemarketing, or privacy laws;
  • copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or commercially exploit a substantial portion of the Site’s content or compilation without our permission;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it;
  • reverse engineer or circumvent any security or access-control measure; or
  • use the Site to harass, defame, or harm any practice, clinician, or other person, or to post false information.

7. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, graphics, logos, and the selection and arrangement of the directory are owned by DPCfind or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Practice names, logos, physician names, photographs, biographies, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are presented for identification and informational purposes. We claim no ownership of, and assert no affiliation with, those third-party marks or materials. Subject to these Terms, you may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use.

8. Third-party sites and links

The Site links to and may embed content from third-party websites and services (such as practice websites and map services). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, products, services, or privacy practices of those third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DPCFIND AND ITS OPERATORS, OWNERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING ANY INTERACTION WITH OR CARE RECEIVED FROM ANY LISTED PRACTICE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DPCfindand its operators, owners, and contributors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and DPCfind regarding the Site.
