Shaw Kuster, MD

Hello, and welcome to Abide Health! I am passionate about practicing full-spectrum family medicine—caring for patients of all ages, from newborns and pregnant people to seniors.

This commitment to comprehensive, relationship-based care brought my husband, our three children, and our dog Nelson to Louisville, Colorado. After several years in private practice, I was drawn to the Direct Primary Care model for the stronger patient relationships and more personalized care it makes possible.

This inspired me to transition away from traditional fee-for-service medicine and start Abide Health. In addition to my work here, I also provide obstetric shifts on the Labor and Delivery unit at Avista AdventHealth through Clinica Family Health.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy gardening, spending time with my family, and playing percussion in the Boulder Concert Band.
