Dr. Johnson, DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)

Although I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, I spent most of my childhood in Pennsylvania. I attended the University of Nebraska, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in exercise science. I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center and completed my residency training through Michigan State University in Traverse City, Michigan. I am a Board Certified Family Physician and hold dual accreditation from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. In 2014 I earned a Fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians. In my sixteen years of practice, I have been blessed with many leadership roles including Chief Resident, Quality Medical Director, Practice Medical Director, and Physician Champion for Patient-Centered Medical Home.
