Dr. Andrew Garner practices at Adirondack Direct Primary Care in Glens Falls, bringing more than 20 years of medical experience to his patients. Before opening the practice, he spent five years studying the direct primary care model to understand how it could work differently than traditional medicine. He also established the Adirondack Medical Research Center to help advance medical science.
His approach draws on both traditional and non-traditional methods, including work with heavy metal toxicity and IV therapies. He often says the human body doesn't read the textbook, which is why he puts so much weight on actually listening to his patients rather than relying only on what training says should be true. That mindset guides how he treats each person who comes through his door, as an individual case rather than a diagnosis to check off a list.
