Jason Pfaffly

Dr. Jason Pfaffly is a board-certified family medicine physician and co-founder of Agora Health in Micanopy. His background spans hospital medicine, emergency care, geriatrics, and outpatient primary care, and he built Agora Health to practice whole-person medicine without the constraints of insurance-driven systems.

He came to that decision after seeing firsthand the shortcomings of big corporate medicine and the short-sightedness of insurance-based care, and he believes physicians and patients themselves should lead the push toward a more patient-centered model. His approach blends evidence-based medicine with functional and longevity principles, emphasizing prevention, performance, and treatment tailored to each patient.
