Alison Snider, MD
Dr. Alison Snider is a board certified family physician with more than a decade of experience, now practicing at Alison Snider, MD in Yadkinville. She earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from High Point University, went on to Wake Forest University School of Medicine for her MD, and completed her family medicine residency at Moses Cone Hospital, where she served as chief resident.
She spent nine years running her own independent practice and also owns Laurel Creek Wellness Center, a medical spa where she performs aesthetic procedures such as injectables, and she has worked in corporate wellness since 2012. Frustrated by regulatory requirements from insurance companies and Medicare that she felt were eroding the doctor-patient relationship, she turned to direct primary care to refocus on her patients and their needs.
High school sweethearts, Alison and her husband Robert are raising two boys, Michael and Robert "B." She enjoys target shooting and gardening, and the family spends time in the mountains and stays active in their church in Banner Elk.
