J.R. Martin, PA-C

J.R. Martin, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Alive & Well in St. George, with twenty years in the field. Martin's father was a caring doctor in rural Utah, and growing up meant watching him carry his medical bag to patients' homes and tend to players on the sidelines of hometown football games. Those patients always knew he cared about them, and that same sense of care is what Martin wanted patients to feel too.

After earning two master's degrees and becoming a certified physician assistant, Martin noticed that much of healthcare had turned into a rushed, numbers-based system rather than the personal, friendly care remembered from childhood. Setting out to bring back that better way, Martin has helped Alive & Well serve businesses, individuals, and families for more than nine years.
