Nikhila Schroeder, MD, MEng

Nikhila Schroeder, MD, is board certified in both Allergy & Immunology and Pediatrics and sees patients at Allergenuity Health Associates in Huntersville. She is known for the depth of her connections with patients. She built her practice around the belief that a strong patient-physician relationship, an integrative approach, and care tailored to each person are what quality healthcare requires.

A Wisconsin native, she studied electrical engineering and computer science at MIT, earning a bachelor's and a master's degree with concentrations in biomedical engineering and music. Medicine had always been the real calling, though. So she went on to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for her MD, then trained in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology at the University of Virginia, where her interest in sublingual immunotherapy took hold.

That interest led her to Allergy Associates of La Crosse, where she treated nearly a thousand patients with the treatment over three years. She and her husband James then moved their family south to open Allergenuity Health.
