Sierra Wensman, MD

Dr. Sierra Wensman is a board-certified pediatrician with more than ten years of experience at Alma Direct Pediatric Care in Tucson. She built her practice around the reality of busy family life, wanting a place that actually works with parents juggling packed schedules rather than fighting against them.

Her own experience breastfeeding led her to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, so she can support nursing mothers directly in her practice. She grew up in the small town of Boulder City, Nevada, and says that close-knit upbringing still shapes how she thinks about relationships and care with the families she treats.

She is also a mother of five young children herself, which gives her a firsthand sense of how hectic parenting can get. Taking care of kids is what she considers her calling, and she looks forward to partnering with families as they raise healthy, happy children.
