Dave Rogers, MD, MPH

Dr. Dave Rogers is a board certified family physician at Alpenglow Family Medicine in Colorado Springs. He genuinely loves being a doctor, and he often says that people aren't numbers and numbers aren't people, a line that sums up how he sees the exam room.

Much of his approach was shaped by his career in the U.S. Air Force, where he practiced a form of direct primary care and saw firsthand how much value comes from ready access to your own physician. He wants to care for people who have rarely felt truly listened to by a doctor, and he believes medicine works best when physician and patient actually know each other, with enough time to get into the real details of physical and mental health.

Direct primary care lets him practice in exactly that way, focused on maximizing his patients' health, wellbeing, and enjoyment of life.
