Tatiana Hamawi, MD

Dr. Tatiana Hamawi is a board certified internist and pediatrician at Alpha-Omega Direct Primary Care in Worcester, Massachusetts. She graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 1994 and trained at Albany Medical Center through 1998.

She opened her private practice in Worcester in 2002, and for more than two decades she has focused on unhurried, empathetic primary care for patients of every age. Even as the medical world shifted around her, she kept the practice independent rather than let it get absorbed into corporate or big hospital medicine, and her patients have always come first.

Watching insurance carriers place more and more demands between doctors and patients, she made the decision in 2023 to leave the insurance-based model behind and adopt direct primary care, a way to protect the kind of bond she believes good medicine depends on.
