Catherine Agricola, MD

Dr. Catherine Agricola is a primary care physician at Altucare Primary Medical Care in Kingston, where she has practiced since 2016. Raised in a small Connecticut town, she studied pre-medical science and music as an undergraduate at Columbia University before earning her medical degree at Yale School of Medicine. She then completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Rochester, an institution known for its biopsychosocial approach to care, training fully in both specialties.

Over the years she has cared for hundreds of adults and children in traditional primary care settings, building lasting relationships with her patients along the way. That experience convinced her that primary care works best when it's personalized to the people, families, and communities it serves rather than shaped around institutional constraints, and it's what drew her toward a more comprehensive, community-oriented style of practice.
