Elvi Whiteford, MD
Dr. Elvi Whiteford is a board certified family physician with Appleton Clinics in Grand Junction. She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2000, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Fort Lewis College.
Whiteford has spent nine years in full-time primary care in the Grand Valley and serves as a faculty member with St. Mary's Family Practice Residency Program. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians, with particular interests in preventive medicine and women's and children's health, and she takes pleasure in caring for entire families rather than just individual patients.
She and her husband are kept busy by their two sons, and she likes to spend her free time traveling, running, hiking, reading and gardening.
