Matthew Green, DO

Matthew Green co-founded Ascent Direct Primary Care in Nixa, where he set out to build a different kind of doctor-patient relationship. Alongside his wife Melissa, he opened the practice in 2015 with the goal of making medical care feel more personal and less like the usual clinic visit.

From the start, the two wanted patients to come away with something refreshing and even a little unexpected, a real departure from what people typically expect from a trip to the doctor. That vision still shapes how Ascent runs day to day, with an emphasis on genuine connection over the rushed pace of conventional practices.

Running Ascent alongside Melissa has kept the practice a true family effort since day one.
