I was born in New Hampshire and raised in Cary, North Carolina from the age of four.
I learned the value of community and teamwork during childhood through extracurriculars such as dance and basketball, and participated in community service projects throughout high school.
As I headed to college at the University of Southern California, I examined my passions and discovered my calling in helping others improve their lives.
I attended UNC Chapel Hill for medical school and also completed a master degree in public health.
I completed my family medicine residency training at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where I fell in love with the specialty.
I chose to specialize in Family Medicine because I wanted to care for people across the entire life spectrum and develop relationships with families that could span multiple generations.
Since residency, I have helped establish primary care in Tucson and worked in private practice here in Cary, NC.
I have always cherished caring for my patients but grew frustrated with the confines of insurance-based primary care and was ready for a change that allows me to prioritize my patient's interests.
