Michele Gero, MD

Michele Gero, MD is a physician at Aspire Direct Primary Care in Venice, Florida. She earned her degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse in 2001, then stayed on for her internship and residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she was named chief resident in her final year.

She went on to practice in Connecticut for seven years before relocating to Florida, where she spent nearly a decade with a corporate medical group. By 2019 she was ready to give her patients more of her attention and get back to the reasons she chose medicine in the first place, so she made the move to direct primary care.

Originally from a rural corner of northern New York, she brings that same unhurried, small-town sensibility to how she cares for patients today.
