Dr. Nicole Ascanio is a physician at AspireMD in Omaha, Nebraska. She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Cleveland Clinic.
After moving to Omaha with her family to practice medicine, she grew frustrated by the limits insurance companies and a hospital-owned primary care practice placed on her ability to care for patients. She wanted more time with each person in her exam room, time to actually shape their care and focus on prevention and whole person health rather than rushing through a checklist.
That frustration is what led her to start aspireMD. She built the practice to follow through on a simple goal, helping her patients improve their health and wellness in a way that feels convenient and personal rather than transactional.
