Paul Yang leads Autobiography Health in Pasadena, a direct primary care practice built on the belief that every patient's health journey is their own story and deserves care that truly sees them.

Yang started the practice after feeling burned out by traditional fee-for-service medicine, where volume-driven schedules left little room for real connection. Too much of conventional care, Yang found, focused on checkboxes rather than the people behind them. Autobiography Health was built as an alternative, a place centered on recovery, function, and long-term well-being rather than throughput.

At the center of that approach is listening. Yang works to understand each patient's story and walk alongside them, so they feel heard, valued, and empowered to take charge of their own health.
