David Battiste, Master of Clinical Health Services

David Battiste, PA-C, leads the clinical team at Avaly Direct Health in Englewood. He built his approach to medicine over more than two decades on the front lines, working in primary care, urgent care, and emergency services before settling into direct primary care.

That mix of experience taught him to stay calm under pressure and to communicate clearly, especially when a patient feels uncertain. He asks the right questions before jumping to conclusions, walks patients through their options in plain language, and builds care plans that actually fit into everyday life rather than ones that look good on paper. For David, good healthcare starts with listening and understanding the person behind the symptoms, not just treating the symptoms themselves.
