Jairo Puente, MD

Dr. Puente is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician with over 30 years of clinical experience. He grew up in Hollywood, Florida, but has called Pensacola home since 2011. Spending time with his five kids, being outdoors and on two wheels is how he enjoys his life. La Universidad Metropolitana in Barranquilla, Colombia is where he proudly attended medical school. In McAllen, Texas while completing his Residency Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center, he served as Chief Resident. The United States Air Force Reserves commissioned him as a medical officer. Over the last 10 years, Dr. Puente has provided care for thousands of patients as a hospitalist, in the emergency room, in primary care and in hospice care.
