Dr. Robert Patterson is a board-certified family medicine physician at Back to Basics Medical Practice PLLC in Sanford. He brings more than 46 years of experience in family practice, alongside 40 years in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, 30 years in functional medicine, and 45 years in nutritional medicine.
He has also spent 30 years as a Certified Natural Health Practitioner and 15 years working as a naturopathic doctor, and he serves as a senior-level FAA Airman Medical Examiner. Dr. Patterson keeps his advanced credentials current through ongoing continuing education. Physicians, nurse practitioners, and PAs travel from medical centers across the eastern United States to train under him, with Dr. Patterson serving as their instructor and preceptor.
