William Bebout is a family medicine physician and the founder of Bebout Family Medicine in Morganfield, Kentucky, where he practices Direct Primary Care. He has been part of the Morganfield community for decades, using the DPC model to bring a more personal touch to healthcare.
His path into medicine started early. At seventeen he took an EMT course, then went on to earn an RN degree with a focus on critical care before finally pursuing his goal of medical school. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1995 and completed his residency at Deaconess Family Medicine in Evansville, Indiana, in 1998. Afterward he returned to his hometown, where he has cared for patients for more than 25 years, eventually striking out on his own to build a solo practice centered on personalized, patient-focused care.
An avid outdoorsman and gamer, he also collects medical antiquities, a hobby that reflects his appreciation for the history behind the medicine he practices today.
