Margarita Diaz-Ochu, MD

Dr. Margarita Diaz-Ochu, known to many patients as Dr. Ochu, is a pediatrician at Bee Home Pediatrics in Millcreek. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Utah, later becoming an assistant professor in the university's Department of Pediatrics.

While on faculty, she focused on newborns experiencing neonatal opioid withdrawal after in utero exposure, working with the university's Substance Use and Pregnancy Recovery Addiction Dependence program. That work strengthened her commitment to caring for patients with special health care needs and treating their families with respect and compassion.

She opened Bee Home Pediatrics in 2022 as one of the first direct pay pediatric clinics in the area, offering care from infancy through college with longer visits and a personalized, holistic approach. She has a particular interest in children's nutrition and enjoys helping parents build a strong foundation for their kids' physical, mental, and emotional health.
