Eric Blacher, MD, MPH
Dr. Eric Blacher is a board-certified family medicine physician and the founder of BellaireCare Direct Family Health in Bellaire, Texas. A third-generation physician, he left corporate hospital medicine behind to build a direct primary care practice centered on transparent pricing and real relationships with his patients. His approach blends empathy with evidence, and he leans on shared decision-making rather than dictating care from behind a chart.
He keeps his patient panel small, around 400 people, so he can give each one individualized attention rather than rushing through visits. That commitment to relationship-driven care earned him the AAFP Physician of the Year award, and patients anywhere in Texas can also reach him for video visits.
Blacher serves as a Lieutenant Colonel and Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force Reserve. He is a husband and father of two.
