Dr. James Breen has been in practice for 25 years. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency at the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program in Rhode Island.
He is board-certified in Family Medicine and is certified in Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Breen has also completed a Certificate in Health Care Ethics through the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Dr. Breen has practiced in a variety of office and hospital settings, from rural community health centers to academic medical practices.
He founded Benedict Medicine in order to offer quality primary care honoring Hippocratic principles. His philosophy of care is focused on lifestyle interventions to prevent and manage chronic conditions.
