Robyn Gutman, MD

Robyn Gutman is a pediatrician at Birdie Pediatrics in Scottsdale, Arizona. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she studied Italian Literature at Smith College and spent a year in Florence before earning her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University and completing her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland.

She moved to Scottsdale twenty years ago and spent nineteen years caring for general pediatric patients in Phoenix, along with high acuity, medically fragile children from birth through adulthood. That work led her to pioneer a direct primary care model for pediatrics in the Valley, and she has become a national speaker and mentor for pediatricians leaving large practices for more personal care. She also guest lectures on adolescent medicine at Northern Arizona University.

She's married to Michael Gutman, an ENT in the Valley, and together they're raising three daughters. Dr. Gutman considers her patients family, and fills her free time with golf, yoga, hiking, running and travel.
