Tricia Birdwell, MD
Dr. Tricia Birdwell is a board certified family medicine physician at Birdwell Family Medicine PC in Rapid City. She has practiced for 20 years, treating patients in both a fast-paced, volume-focused clinic and in rural Central California.
She earned her undergraduate degree at UC Riverside, graduating cum laude, then went on to St. George's University School of Medicine for her MD and completed residency at UC San Francisco's Fresno campus. Those years in very different settings, from busy clinics to small-town rural care, left her wanting to slow back down. Her goal now is an old-fashioned style of medicine that gives the doctor-patient relationship the room it needs to grow.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two kids. She is also a Catholic Christian.
