Dustin Clark, MD

Dr. Dustin Clark is a family medicine physician at Black Bag Family Healthcare in Johnson City. He grew up in Glasgow, Kentucky, and earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine before completing his family medicine residency at the ETSU Johnson City Family Medicine program, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He has practiced in the Tri-Cities since 2011.

Clark believes medicine works best through close, personalized relationships, much like the homeschooling he and his wife, Lauren, do for their five children. They have been married since 2001, and he sees the same principle at work in both settings, since no two learners, or patients, respond to the same approach. Freed from insurance administrators and government regulators, he treats each patient as the individual they are.

The East Tennessee mountains are a favorite retreat for him and his family, whether hiking area trails or gathering around a campfire on a crisp fall evening. He also enjoys a good book, browsing flea markets, regular exercise, and the fellowship of his church family.
