Edeisha Brooks, NP

Edeisha Brooks is a family nurse practitioner at Black Olive Health in Columbus, where she is focused on intentional, patient-centered care.

Growing up, she saw how past healthcare experiences left people in her community feeling unheard, overlooked, or reassured without real resolution, often to the point that they avoided care altogether. That pattern became the foundation for the kind of care she set out to provide. As a Black woman in healthcare, she understands the weight of trust, representation, and advocacy, and she works to build a space where patients are respected and genuinely heard, where their concerns are taken seriously.

At Black Olive Health, visits are unhurried and built around the individual. She and her patients work together to get to the root of a concern rather than settle for a quick fix, so that care stays thoughtful and personal from the first conversation onward.
