Jaren Blake, MD
Dr. Jaren Blake practices direct primary care at Blake Family Medicine in Provo, the city where he was born and raised. He studied at Brigham Young University and spent two years on an LDS mission in Budapest, Hungary before finishing his degree in American Studies in 1999. From there he went on to Tulane School of Medicine, earning his MD in 2003.
His approach leaves insurance out of the equation. Patients get straightforward, transparent pricing, real conversations about their health, and the kind of unhurried time that insurance-driven schedules rarely allow.
Dr. Blake believes healthcare should be personal and honest, and that insurance has made it needlessly complicated and expensive. Practicing the way medicine used to work, without that interference, is his way of pushing back.
