Dr. Farhat Shaikh, MD

Dr. Farhat Shaikh is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at Bliss Direct Primary Care in Plano, with more than 15 years of experience. A 2001 graduate of Dow Medical College, Shaikh completed a family medicine residency through the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program.

Medicine became a path to serve others and help patients take real ownership of their health, and that same drive carries into the direct primary care model. Freed from the constraints of a typical practice, Shaikh can spend more unhurried time with each patient and focus on proactive care aimed at lasting, optimal health rather than just addressing whatever comes up in a rushed visit.
