Kent Lofley, DO
Dr. Lofley is the founder of Blue Ocean Direct Primary Care in Hendersonville, TN. His practice philosophy follows osteopathic principles, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—to find root causes of illness. He has 13 years of experience across various medical settings including correctional medicine, outpatient care, rural health clinic leadership, and telemedicine. He served in the Air Force Reserves and has participated in humanitarian missions. He completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University, earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master's in Biomedical Science from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at Southern Colorado Family Medicine in 2013. He is married to his wife, Tara, for 23 years and is a father of nine children.
