Kent Lofley, DO
Dr. Kent Lofley is an osteopathic physician and founder of Blue Ocean Family Medicine in Hendersonville, Tennessee. His approach follows osteopathic principles, treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, to get at the root causes of illness rather than just the symptoms. Over 13 years he has practiced across a wide range of settings, from correctional medicine and outpatient care to leading a rural health clinic and working in telemedicine.
Lofley served in the Air Force Reserves and has taken part in humanitarian medical missions. He trained at Utah State University before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a master's in biomedical science from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, and completing his family medicine residency at Southern Colorado Family Medicine in 2013.
He and his wife, Tara, have been married 23 years and are raising nine children together.
