About Maura McLaughlin
Dr. Maura McLaughlin is a family medicine physician at Blue Ridge Family Practice in Charlottesville, Virginia. She grew up in Illinois before heading east for Georgetown University and, later, Loyola Stritch School of Medicine for her medical degree.
She trained in family medicine at the University of Virginia, where she served as chief resident and went on to complete a faculty development fellowship. She stayed on as UVA faculty for a time before opening Blue Ridge Family Practice in 2016.
A dedicated runner, she also makes room for live music, good food, and a good book whenever the schedule allows.
