Malia Swanson, MD

Dr. Malia Swanson sees patients at Boulder Valley Direct Primary Care in Lafayette. She wants every patient to feel welcome there, free to be heard and to have a real say in their own care.

Swanson grew up in Boulder, spending her childhood hiking and skiing, and considers it an honor to now practice medicine in the same community that raised her. Married to Jayme, she has three kids. Their oldest was born at a freestanding birth center, and the younger two were born at home.

A dedicated triathlete, Swanson spends her off days training for the next race, walking with a good friend, and dreaming up her own recipes in the kitchen. Family time rounds out the rest.
