Cymanthia Connell, MD

Dr. Cymanthia Connell is a board-certified family medicine physician who founded Bridge Direct Primary Care in Atlanta, Georgia, where she serves as medical director. Patients, friends, and family know her simply as Dr. Cyam.

Her training spans three countries. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University in Canada, then went on to Ross University School of Medicine in the Caribbean for her medical degree, which she completed with honors. She finished her family medicine residency as chief resident at Atlanta Medical Center, and later completed a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona, pairing her medical training with a deeper interest in nutrition and botanical medicine.

A native of Montreal, Dr. Cyam brings that integrative outlook into everyday practice, working with patients on the lifestyle habits that help prevent illness before it starts rather than only treating it after the fact.
