Payton Skawinski, MD

Dr. Payton Skawinski leads Bridge DPC, a direct primary care practice on Bainbridge Island. His passion for medicine found new life once he moved into the direct primary care model, where appointments run as long as they need to and a real relationship with each patient can actually take shape.

He got there by watching where healthcare was headed and deciding there had to be a better way. Even as people pay more for coverage, preventable hospitalizations and deaths keep climbing, and that gap between cost and outcome is what pushed him to build his own practice.

Starting Bridge DPC was his answer, a way to hand control back to patients and bring medicine back to something closer to what it should be.
