Dr. Nacchal Nachiappan, MD

Dr. Nacchal Nachiappan is a physician with Build Health MD in Phoenix. She has been in practice since 2010, trained at Cornell University, SUNY Upstate Medical University and UC Irvine, and was recognized by the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during her education.

Her career has taken her through a wide range of settings. She has worked as a hospitalist and a primary care physician, and she has also served as a telehealth physician for remote clinics. She has provided medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, and her training extends into whole health practices such as auricular acupuncture and other complementary therapies.

Teaching has been part of her path as well. She has held faculty positions at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix, where her work earned her teaching awards.
