Yusuf Saleeby, MD

Dr. Yusuf Saleeby, known as JP, is the Medical Director and founder of Carolina Holistic Medicine in Mt Pleasant. Trained in allopathic medicine, JP spent nearly two decades in emergency medicine before beginning a self-directed study of complementary and alternative medicine in 1998.

That study led JP to found Carolina Holistic Medicine, and in 2016 to establish the Priority Health Academy, a credentialing institution that trains other practitioners in functional and integrative medicine. The practice draws on peer-reviewed evidence alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic practice, and other global healing traditions, all filtered through a scientific lens.
