Amy Glaser-Carpenter, DO

Dr. Amy Glaser-Carpenter is the founder and physician at Carpenter Family Care in Batesville. She opened the practice in May 2018 to give patients healthcare that is high quality, affordable, and easy to access.

Before starting her own practice, she spent more than a decade, from 2005 to 2018, in leadership roles at hospitals and health centers across Indiana and Colorado, always looking for ways to improve how care was delivered. Over time she came to believe the system couldn't truly change as long as insurance companies were driving the decisions, so she went looking for a different model and found direct primary care.

That shift has let her spend real time with each patient rather than rushing through visits. She works with patients to reach their own health goals and stays reachable between appointments, whether someone needs to come in or just call, email, or text about something acute or ongoing.
