Dr. Cynthia Stuart is board certified in both family medicine and obesity medicine at Castle Hills Health & Wellness in Lewisville. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Texas, then went on to medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Her residency was completed at UT Southwestern and Methodist Hospital System, where she served as chief resident.
She has run her own practice in the North Carrollton area since 2005, with a focus on evidence-based, preventive care and managing disease through lifestyle changes rather than relying on it alone. Patients get her full attention; she listens closely to their concerns, weighs their individual risks, and builds a plan around what fits them specifically.
Teaching remains part of her work too. She serves as an associate professor at UT Southwestern and the University of North Texas Health Science Center, helping train the next generation of physicians, and rounded out her training with a two-year advanced leadership program at SMU's Cox School of Business.
