Praveena Selvaduray, MD PhD

Dr. Praveena Selvaduray is a family medicine physician at Castro Direct Primary Care in San Francisco. She has practiced medicine for the past ten years, starting at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego before spending five years at One Medical in the Castro District of San Francisco.

She earned a PhD in immunology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center before attending medical school at the University of California, San Diego, and she completed her family medicine residency back at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.

What she enjoys most about her work is building long lasting relationships with her patients and partnering with them throughout their healthcare journey, and she is committed to delivering evidence-based medicine with compassion.
