Marcia Hauter

Lifelong Central Illinois resident. Born in Lincoln, Illinois and grew up in San Jose, Illinois. His father was a physician for a small town of 500 and the surrounding area.Studied chemistry at the University of Illinois after high school. Attended medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, where he met his wife, Marcia.After medical school, completed 3 years of specialty training in Internal Medicine at a hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Returned to Lincoln in 1991 to join the medical group that his father helped start in 1972. His father retired after they joined and they took over many of his patients.
