Deborah Chisholm, MD

A lifelong path toward medicine, it seems, given Deborah Chisholm knew by age 7 that her calling was ministry to others as a doctor. Dr. Chisholm is a family medicine physician at Chisholm Center for Health in Le Roy, known for a reputation as a doctor who thinks outside the box.

Growing up in Iowa, she earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2004 and completed her residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines in 2007. Since finishing her formal training, she has explored nutrition as a powerful tool for healing in both acute and chronic illness, bringing that perspective into how she practices today.

She prefers to call the people she treats clients rather than patients, and she finds real joy in building those relationships. Her measure of success is simple, helping people live in a way that their health rarely gets in the way of their purpose in life.
