Kissi Blackwell, MD

Dr. Kissi Rosabel Blackwell is a board-certified family medicine physician and the founder of Clarity Direct Care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2006 and completed her Family Medicine Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in 2009.

With nearly 20 years of experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, Dr. Blackwell has witnessed firsthand how traditional healthcare systems create barriers between doctors and patients. In 2014, she returned to her hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas, where she continued practicing in a conventional medical setting.

After years of seeing how insurance interference, rushed appointments, and bureaucratic red tape were negatively impacting patient care, she founded Clarity Direct Care to break free from the limitations of insurance-based medicine and restore the doctor-patient relationship.
