Crystal Lantz-DeGeorge, MD

I'm Crystal Lantz-DeGeorge, M.D., a doctor, mother of three and proud Chagrin Falls resident. I grew up in Tiffin, Ohio with a childhood dream of becoming a doctor.

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006 and from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2010 in the top 5% of my class as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. I completed my residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and was selected as a chief resident in 2013.

Following my chief resident year, I went into the practice of general internal medicine in South Euclid, Ohio and took care of thousands of patients over nearly 10 years. I've been the medical director of a local skilled nursing facility which provided me extensive experience caring for patients in the interval between hospitalizations and home.

I've been an associate program director of the internal medicine residency at UH main campus, and the teaching of residents was a huge joy in the first decade of my career.

All of these experiences have allowed me tremendous experience in taking care of patients in the hospital, office, nursing home and end-of-life setting. My passion is providing the type of doctor-patient relationship that EVERYONE deserves that can be life-altering and life-saving.

I believe that not only my decade of experience practicing medicine but also my own life experience allows me to be the type of bright, efficient, compassionate, non-judgmental, caring physician that everyone deserves.
