Dr. Tanner Moore is a board-certified family physician specializing in diabetes remission and regenerative medicine at Clearwater Health DPC in Apex. He studied at West Virginia University for both undergraduate and medical school, served as class president of the WVU School of Medicine, and was inducted into the Mountain Honorary. After graduating in 2017, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Martin Army Community Hospital in 2020 as Academic Chief Resident.
His military career took him from field surgeon in the 82nd Airborne to Brigade Surgeon three years ahead of schedule, and after being promoted to Major he supervised a team of eight PAs and five physicians caring for more than 4,300 paratroopers. Frustrated by how complicated and expensive healthcare had become for his patients, he and his wife Katherine started Clearwater Health DPC to build affordable, accessible, and transparent care around trusting relationships between physicians and the families and businesses they serve.
He and Katherine have three children and enjoy farming and staying active outdoors together.
