Coastal Direct MD was founded by Dr. Shaun Weaver after years of working within the traditional healthcare system, where he saw the need for a more accessible, proactive and common sense approach to primary care.

Frustrated by the reactive nature of conventional care, where appointments were rushed, and preventative health was often neglected, Dr. Weaver envisioned care that prioritized comprehensive and preventative measures, clear communication and patient empowerment.

Dr. Weaver sees patients of all ages. He believes in working with patients to understand their health issues thoroughly in order to make educated and informed decisions about their treatment options.
