Stasha-Gae Roberts, Nurse practitioner

Stasha-Gae Roberts is a doctor of nursing practice who provides holistic, faith-based primary care for adult women at Compassion Primary Care in Tampa, Florida.

Born in Jamaica, she moved to the United States at age seven, growing up first on Long Island and later in Miami, where she finished high school. She studied nursing at the University of Florida, and an Army recruiter set her on a different path, leading her to join as a nurse officer and earn a commission as a Second Lieutenant. After officer basic training in San Antonio, she spent four years at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Following an honorable discharge, she settled in Tampa, got married, and went on to earn her Master of Public Health, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2014 and opened Compassion Primary Care on January 4, 2021, where she blends traditional medicine with integrative therapies through virtual visits and home visits, caring for patients in Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, and the surrounding Tampa area.
