Michele Peterson, MD

Dr. Michele Peterson is a pediatrician at Complex Care Pediatrics in Inver Grove Heights.

She spent twenty years caring for children within large healthcare systems before deciding that model made it impossible to give every child the comprehensive attention they deserved. That realization led her to start her own practice, which she built first around children with complex medical needs and has since opened to all children.

Through her direct primary care model, she keeps her patient panel to around 200 families rather than the 2,000 typical of a traditional clinic. That smaller scale lets her spend more time with each child and see them on a schedule that actually works for the family, rather than rushing through a packed waiting room.
